It was a Filipino extended family Christmas Eve and we spent it at the house eating lots of Filipino dishes and singing lots of videoke tunes.

On December 1, 2007 we celebrated the 1st birthday of Alessandra Abarquez Valles, my niece by Ryan (Marissa’s brother) and Charis his lovely wife. The same party was largely a wedding reception for Marissa’s youngest brother, Mario “Jojo”, Jr., and his lovely bride Jenny Alingig, who is now also a Valles.
