New Year Celebration in The Philippines

Marissa and I brought in the new year at her Auntie’s home at Tiano-Mabini Streets in the heart of Cagayan de Oro City.  There were groups of people and and down the streets in all directions, each having their own little party.  Since I had drank so much at our Jose Rizal Party the night before, I didn’t drink at all New Year’s Eve.  This was probably the first time I has not drank for New Years in many a new year.  Nevertheless, I had a lot of fun.  Check out the photos here.  After we ran out of fireworks at 1:30 AM we went in side for an hour of videoke before retiring.  This was my first New Year in The Philippines, but certainly not my last.
