Asian Spirit puddle jumping island hopping

Marissa, her chaperone brother Mario (Jo Jo), and I had planned to take the Superferry from Cebu to Cdo overnight on Saturday evening, but the only accomoodations were open air (without air conditioning), so we decided to fly instead. The one-hour flight was about $70 each, though there was a 10 kilo per passenger checked luggage limit, and it cost me an extra $28 or so to carry all our 76 kilos.

It was the first time Marissa or Jo Jo had flown. We had stayed out so late the night before (midnight) and gotten up so early to catch the flight (5 AM) that Jo Jo fell asleep on the plane. I almost did too, and normally I don’t sleep on planes without a good dose of sedatives.

We’ll be flying Asian Spirit again, to get to those hard to reach places on the spur of the moment.
